All of the above are key words when referring to paper modeling. Students were introduced to a number of paper folding techniques during an intensive workshop. They learned to manipulate paper and completely alter its form using a variety of methods. The results were impressive, take a look at what the 3D design team achieved!
The Creative Drawing, Sketching & 3D Design students started experimenting with plaster! After a detailed presentation regarding the process of plaster model making students began designing their plaster moulds using grey model card. All moulds were inspired by each student's unique 'threshold' idea. Through simplifying and deconstruction their initial concepts they were all able to produce exciting results. After mixing, casting and pouring the plaster, the three dimensional 'threshold' interpretations were complete!
